The story
Members of a punk rock band and a tough young woman are forced to fight for survival after witnessing an act of violence at a skinhead bar.
Green Room recap
Green Room (2015) traps a touring punk band inside a neo-Nazi bar in the Oregon woods after they walk in on a murder backstage. Jeremy Saulnier writes and directs. The Ain't Rights, bassist Pat (Anton Yelchin), guitarist Sam (Alia Shawkat), drummer Reece (Joe Cole) and singer Tiger (Callum Turner), take a last-minute gig outside Portland. Going back for a phone, Pat finds a young woman stabbed dead in the green room, and the staff lock the band in with her friend Amber (Imogen Poots). The club's owner, Darcy Banker (Patrick Stewart), calmly plans to kill them all and stage it as a trespass gone wrong. The band takes the bouncer's gun, loses it when Pat's arm is slashed through the door, and tries to break out; trained dogs and armed skinheads pick them off one by one. The film stands alone.
Green Room ending explained
Green Room ends with only Pat and Amber alive. They kill the two skinheads sent to finish them, take the bar manager Gabe prisoner and follow the gang into the woods, where Darcy's men are setting up the bodies to look like trespassers shot on private land. Gabe slips off to call the police while Pat and Amber kill the dog handler Clark and another skinhead. Darcy draws a revolver and both of them shoot him dead. The two survivors sit by the roadside, worn out, waiting for the police to arrive.
