The story
A disgruntled ex-CIA operative, his assistant and their assembled group of terrorists seize a battleship with nuclear blackmail in mind. They've planned for every contingency but ignore the ship's cook, former Navy SEAL Casey Ryback—an error that could be fatal.
Under Siege recap
Casey Ryback, the cook on the battleship USS Missouri, is a former Navy SEAL demoted for hitting an officer. During the captain's birthday party on the ship's last voyage, the rogue ex-CIA man William Strannix and the ship's executive officer, Commander Krill, seize the ship with a band of mercenaries posing as caterers. They plan to steal its Tomahawk nuclear missiles and sell them. Krill has Ryback locked in the freezer, but he escapes. With Jordan Tate, a model hired for the party, and a handful of freed sailors, Ryback picks off the hijackers one by one, while the Navy prepares to retake the ship.
Under Siege ending explained
Strannix fires missiles at Honolulu; one is shot down, and Ryback reaches the control room to abort the other. Krill is killed in a knife fight with Ryback, and Strannix dies when Ryback stabs him in the eye and shoves his head into a computer monitor. The surviving crew are rescued.
